Path Work
I get knocked down, but i get up again.
So, I haven't posted since Sunday, which means I'm a good four posts behind. So today, expect a few more pieces. First is this sketch of Ventress, another character from my Ghostrockets comics project. Punnaka, who we saw earlier, is the hero, but her best friend and DJ is Ventress. This sketch is part of some thumbnails for a simple animation I'd like to do in Flash.

icons
Damn, I missed posting yesterday. and after talking it up to my roommate, too. So there'll be two posts today. First, here are the icons for my video game project from game design class at city college.
basically, you play a li'l devil named Duppy who's trying to get through his day with appropriate drugs, and you have to switch to the right drug to take care of certain enemies. For example, when faced with happy bunnies, use the prozac... when facing the ghosts of your ambition, use the caffeine, dim the din of the talking heads with weed.
So here are the icons for the user interface.

Coffee Quotes
While looking up a brief quote on the joys of caffeine for the flash game I'm working on, I came across these others that are great as well, and need to be shared. They all came from http://www.quotegarden.com/coffee.html.
It is inhumane, in my opinion, to force people who have a genuine medical need for coffee to wait in line behind people who apparently view it as some kind of recreational activity. I bet this kind of thing does not happen to heroin addicts. I bet that when serious heroin addicts go to purchase their heroin, they do not tolerate waiting in line while some dilettante in front of them orders a hazelnut smack-a-cino with cinnamon sprinkles. ~Dave Barry
This coffee falls into your stomach, and straightway there is a general commotion. Ideas begin to move like the battalions of the Grand Army of the battlefield, and the battle takes place. Things remembered arrive at full gallop, ensuing to the wind. The light cavalry of comparisons deliver a magnificent deploying charge, the artillery of logic hurry up with their train and ammunition, the shafts of wit start up like sharpshooters. Similes arise, the paper is covered with ink; for the struggle commences and is concluded with torrents of black water, just as a battle with powder. ~Honore de Balzac, "The Pleasures and Pains of Coffee"
A mathematician is a device for turning coffee into theorems. ~Paul Erdos
I'll quit coffee. It won't be easy drinking my Bailey's straight, but I'll get used to it. It'll still be the best part of waking up. ~From the television show Will and Grace
